When might we anticipate the 2010 Blackhawk Cup rankings and pairings to be announced? If I recall this is about the time the coaches rank. What is the usually date they come out? Yes you NTG fans you will be ranked number 1, we get it. All of New Trier posts on this site. But looking forward to some of the better matchups (8 vs 9 and 4 vs 5).

The 2010 Playoffs rankings will be set around 1/20. All coaches rank all the teams, and they use all the coaches rankings to set the rankings and playoff pairings. I have no idea what system they use. All i know is coaches rank teams and they will spit of the red, white, and combined bracket.

After those 10 i dont think there will be any good games to watch or that matter...these are the teams in the top ten in my mind....and the top 7 can put a good fight for the cup.

What is the love for Loyola on this board? Here is a news flash. THEY WERE GOOD 20 YEARS AGO! They have underachieved every year. Have not won a ship since 1995. Are you kidding me? They recruit, get AAA players every year and still can't win the BIG ONE. Here is their scores in HIT. You tell me if this is the scores that the so called #2 team in state should have.

They don't recruit so you don't know what your talking about. Does it real matter by how many goals you win as long as you win. I must say Green has a great team this year. They play clean fast hockey. But on any given day something can go wrong and someone can loose. Don't judge now wait till the playoffs and then let the hockey begin. And whoever wins good for them.

York is very inconsistent, but they are top 10 material. They have beaten some strong teams. They lost to Rita in a shootout, beaten Prairie Ridge, beaten Viator; 6-1, tied Fenwick, and beaten Barrington twice. I don't understand your logic behind them not beating any top teams. All the one's i just mentioned were listed top 10.

Multiple posts from other teams on beating Barrington, oh boy! #10 in state? Give me a break. They are not close to last years team who accomplished nothing and were far better. Their metro divison sucks they play in. And....GBS beat Barrington 7-1 and their HIT record is 1-6.
Really do not want to hear them mentioned anymore among the top 15.

How can york not be in the top 15? I would put them on the cusp around 10, anywhere from 8-12 would be a fair ranking. when they have played some of the other top teams they hang with them. they are inconsistent which was said above and they will probably win one game and go out in the 2nd round.
