Congrats to both well desrving teams - good for HS hockey to see this match up for many reasons.

Can Viator handle Rita's top line for entire game?

Can Rita match up depth wise?

Whatever, the results, looking forward to a fast paced and well played game.

Hurry to the UC to see the 170-210 best hockey players in Illinois compete. Yeah. Math computes as follows 4AAA mm + 4AAA MM teams= 160 kids. Have at it.

A your stupid if you think everyone on these schools two roosters couldn't play triple a if they wanted to. I would give you the top line of every triple a team might be better but the kids who at playing on the third abd fourth lines are just lying to themselves telling themselves there just as good or better then the top echelon hs teams.

B it sounds like whoever you are your a little jealous that no one cares enough about your games for anyone except maybe your parents to show up.

Who are you kidding. 90% of the HS kids never made top team Tier 2. Every AAA kid played CSDHL or Elite. Your kid is a bender getting ready for Adult League. Stop the nonsense.

The best player to come out of AA the last few years is playing at Northern with a bunch of high school kids.

97% of kids playing hockey in Illinois are just preparing for men's league and that includes your precious AAA benders as well. AAA is so watered down now it's really not even close to what it was 10 years ago, but keep blasting these high school kids even though they'll be on the same men's team in a few years

more than mens hockey

the bigger picture is that a MUCH larger percent of kids go on to college and juniors after AAA hockey than high school. So your right mens midnight hockey in 4-5 years later, and they will all be playing together again. More kids get rides and looks at AAA than High school hockey ever will. Not to say that no high school kids will get looks but AAA is a better and faster way to get looked at if you can afford the cost of it. 9out of 10 games high school will lose against Team Illinois, Mission, Honey bake, Belle, or the top 15 AAA teams. Even Chicago water downed teams..

High school in Illinois is just not deep enough

Preparing for Men's League

No score for this post

This preparing for men's league thing is such a load of crap. What are all the high school aged kids doing in other sports, preparing for church league basketball and park district softball? A minute percnetage of kids in any sport ever reach the highest levels. Really, is the only reason a kid should play hockey in order to play D1 (ooooh), or Jrs. (wowwww). All kids she be encouraged to chase their dream whether it is hockey, baseball, music, business or whatever. And yes, in hockey the best opportunity to get to another level is to play at the highest level (in IL that is AAA). But let the kids play just for the sake of sport and the good things it teaches.

The highest level of hockey for high school age boys is the USHL or the Canadian Hockey League.

AHAI dropped the ball and scheduled the Blackhawk cup too late at the UC and Nationals were starting that same week. Pretty embarrassing if you ask me.

It was the NBA strike, and compressed season after the strike was over that determined the date of the HS game at the UC.
