Why hasn't the league been announced publicly? When will that happen?

Are players going to be allowed to double roster in this league?

Super 9 League

The league will still be part of the Chicago Metropolitan High School Hockey League. Each team will play each other 3 times during the season. End of Season tournament will have 1v8, 2v7, 3v6 and 4v5 all playing best three series until champion is crowned. I have heard the 8th and 9th place teams will have a single game play-in to determine who gets the 9th spot. Winner of Super 9 end of season tournament will move on to play in All Metro Tournament(not sure if 1 or more teams will actually move on to All Metro).

The other piece of information I have heard is that games will not be on the customary Weds/Saturday nights like it was with Metro North. Teams will be using their own slots for games. Not sure how this will work and what will happen to the practice ice.

The HIT League is over as well.
