Jared Rickord - Springfield Jr. Blues

Springfield forward Jared Rickord potted two goals as the Jr. Blues picked up three points in a two-game series against Motor City. On Friday, the Skokie, Ill., native scored in a 3-2 shootout loss. The next night, the 20-year-old notched the game-winning goal as the Jr. Blues bested the Metal Jackets, 4-2. The Bentley University (Atlantic Hockey) recruit was also a plus-3 on the weekend.

"Jared is a great leader and has been the guy who scores big goals for us at key times," said Jr. Blues head coach Andy Maher. "He's very good at finding loose pucks around the net and has been a key part of our offense this year."
