| If you played in a league such as the norpac do you need to get a release to play in one such as the Minnesota Junior Hockey League?

Nope. Rights are only good for within the league you play/played in.

Team rights are only within league....and expire after teh season ends so you can go anywhere you want next season! Good Luck. The MJ is a pretty good league!
