I just read where North Dakota will be dropping the name Fighting Sioux. They join the list of other schools like Marquette and St. Johns that have done the same. This is another team that I will no longer root for. With all the other issues in this world, why are people so sensitive about these team nicknames? I am Irish so should I be offended that Notre Dame is the "Fighting Irish"? Which is a stereotye of drunken Irishmen fighting in a pub. Absolutely not.
