The PAM210 is from the J series and you may recall this as being the SoCal V3 edition (I can provide the link if requested) with a brushed case, polished bezel and gold hands. If it weren't for finally getting a 232 again, this would be a keeper as the modifications make this a very special piece. Mint condition and it comes with two boxes and all the goodies, including the OEM hands if you want to change them back. I'll also throw in a strap that I made for it so you can preserve the OEM strap. Price reduced to $3850.

To address some of the questions previously asked:

1. The gold hands don't glow as brightly as the OEM hands but still glow strong.
2. The brushed finish extends to the back (as can be seen in the photos) but the engraved details were preserved as this was done with a very delicate (and expert I must say) hand.
3. I have no idea if Panerai would have an issue with performing service since it was modified, but imagine if you had the OEM hands reinstalled (very simple to do) they should be willing to service it. Of course since this is a very simple movement, it's probably better (and quicker) to have your own watchmaker take care of it.

Two thumbs up for a great seller!

Also, I know the original seller and the artisan who worked on this piece. They are both TOP NOTCH! I have seen the watch "in the flesh" and it is stunning! The next owner will be absolutely stoked with his/her purchase!

I'm tired of the one-sided trade offers and "buyers" who disappear

October 26 2009, 5:37 PM

after asking silly questions over and over; examples attached:

1. Were the wire lug screws also brushed to match the case? (you probably think I'm kidding)
2. Is a buckle included with the non-OEM strap (would the lack of a $15 buckle actually kill a deal?)
3. Will I be able to tell the time in the middle of the night with those gold hands (is this really important in a typical watch purchase?)

So, in a last ditch effort to find a buyer who will truly appreciate how special the mods are to this watch, the price is $3650 which includes USPS Express shipping in the USA. No trades and payment via wire transfer only.

This is a screaming deal for a very cool watch; don't miss out before I change my mind!

Thanks,
Keith

I was a bit out of line last night so...

October 27 2009, 3:46 PM

I realize that my comments may have offended some of you who expressed interest, and for that I am sorry. The selling part of our hobby has become extremely painful, and having to answer repeated questions only to have potential buyers disappear without notice is very frustrating.

Clearly there are many of you who are nervous about owning a watch that has been modified, even if the modifications were done very expertly and are reversible (hands very simple, case a bit more work) and perhaps you should think about going after a stock 210 instead.

The watch will remain for sale at the reduced price of $3650 but won't be posted again. If you have sincere interest, feel free to contact me.

Again, my sincere apologies and I hope you find what you are looking for.

Keith
