From Ordinary to Extraordinary
"The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him."
- 2 Chronicles 16:9
A conversation took place many years ago between D. L. Moody, before he became the great evangelist, and another man. The man said to Moody, "You know, the world has yet to see what God can do with and through the man who is totally committed to Him."
Those words went deep into Moody's heart, and he prayed, "Lord, I want to be that man." He sure came close.
The Book of Acts is a story of ordinary men and women who did extraordinary things because they allowed God to have His way in their lives. In the same way, God wants to use you to turn your world upside down for Christ.
It starts with you saying, "Lord, I want to make a difference. I don't want this world to turn me around. I want to turn it around. Use me."
The world has yet to see what God can do with and through the man or woman who is totally committed to Him. Will God find such people today? I wonder if you would say, like Moody, "I want to be that person."
If you will, then your life can make a difference. It will be exciting in the days ahead to see what God will do through and with you. But He wants you to be available to Him.
One of these days, your life will come to an end. What will you say of your life? What will others say?
How great it would be to say, like Paul, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful" (2 Timothy 4:7).
What will you say?

God's Grace Will See You Through
Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit... says the Lord of hosts.

Some time ago just before a meeting in which I was teaching on the subject of grace, someone handed my husband a written word from the Lord and asked him to give it to me. I am sure that person had no idea what direction I would be taking in that meeting, but the message certainly fit in with it.
I believe the following message is divinely anointed. I encourage you to read it carefully and receive what the Lord wants to speak to you today.
I want you to face the mountain
so that you can see,
when the mountain is out of the way
all there is left is Me.
Only I can move the mountain,
only I can push it away,
only I can conquer the problems
that you face today.
Your only job is to believe, to listen
to My voice,
and when you hear what I command,
obedience is your choice.
But I will not make it too difficult for the victory
is already Mine,
and I will fill you with My Spirit and through
you My grace will shine.
Not when you are perfect,
like you think you need to be,
but when your heart is willing to become more
and more like Me.

Honor Him in All That You Do
Today's Verse:
"Remind people to be submissive to [their] magistrates and authorities, to be obedient, to be prepared and willing to do any upright and honorable work" (Titus 3:1, AMP).
Today's Word:
In what ways do you honor God? A lot of times, people think "I go to church to honor God. I read my Bible to honor God. I sing and clap to honor God." And yes, those are ways to honor God, but did you know that you honor God just as much when you get to work on time? You honor God when you are productive each day and honor the people in authority over you. You honor God when you excel in your career.
Actions speak louder than words. When you give your very best in the workplace, your whole life is giving praise to God-it's one of the best witnesses you could ever have. Just showing up with a good attitude, friendly, organized, being your best-people will notice there's something different about you. They'll want what you have.
As believers, we should set the standard in all areas of life. People should see the depth of your character and your spirit of excellence and know that you are a child of the Most High God. Make the decision to honor Him in all that you do because you are His representative in the earth today!
Prayer for Today:
Father in heaven, I choose to honor You in all that I do. I choose to set the standard and do my very best. Thank You for the privilege to be Your representative. I love You and bless You! In Jesus' Name. Amen.
