Chapter 9: Slumberland Arc
Act 28: Off to Slumberland

Narrator: Previously on Kouja no Senshi...
Serena: Oh hey, we didn't see you before.
Girl: (surprised) What, you never heard of the show Bolt?
Dil: (surprised) Whoa, you're Penny?!
Penny hush Dil as she nods to her pets made up of a familiar dog, a cat and a hamster.
Penny: I am out of the show business, don't tell anyone we're here.
Serena: (nods) Your secret is safe with us.
A bit later, back at home, Nemo's father was preparing himself to go out. Just then, Nemo with Icarus came in.
Nemo: Papa, there's a circus in town!
Papa: That's nice, Nemo.
Nemo: (grins) Can we go see it, huh?
Papa: Maybe tomorrow son.
Nemo: But you always say tomorrow!
He then looked at his watch.
Papa: Oh I’m going to be late, I’m sorry but I have to go.
He then passed by his wife as she gave him his hat.
Papa: Tomorrow, maybe.
Mama: Bye, dear. Have a wonderful day.
As soon as he was gone, Nemo and Icarus only sighed sadly.
Nemo: Oh, geez.
Mr. Scatterbrain: (notices) Oooooh, what does this button do?
Then, the button was pressed as the smoke went off everywhere. They coughed and gasped, starting to all fall unconscious. As the fog left HQ, it went throughout the city at night.
Ghastly's Voice: I'm afraid that everyone inside Tokyo will all be asleep, especially since it's night fall. Which could also mean that these people may or may not take dream like personas!
The fog went through almost every place, including where both Nemo and Rini, who were both looking down, it went. The two felt the fog as did the squirrel before they lost consciousness. Outside the HQ, Skarr noticed the fog arriving.
Skarr: Let me guess, the idiot set off the invention, didn't he?
Merlock: Never trust a scatterbrain!
Hotaru was hit as she yawned.
Hotaru: I'm...so sleepy...
Meowth: Gah!
Fidgit: Don't fall asleep, kid!
However, everyone else was hit as they began to lose consciousness, then fell asleep as well.
Kate: What the heck is going on? Some strange fog hits us and the next thing that happens, this flying machine pops up.
Adelaine: (to herself) Hiram...
The two quickly followed the balloon. At the Kouja no Senshi HQ, the group began awakening as Mr. Happy looked concerned.
Mr. Happy: What happened?
Miss Sunshine looked out the window, noticing something.
Miss Sunshine: Look!
They looked out, noticing people in what appeared to be dream forms, including the Homestar crew.
Strong Bad: (in Dangeresque voice) This is getting peculiar. I'm gonna have to jump!
They watched him jump from the roof and landing on the ground.
Mr. Tickle: Oh my goodness, even the people of Free Country are acting strange.
Tron: We must be in the dream world.
Sailor Moon: I know...some of us don't even remember transforming.
Sailor Mercury: Very interesting.
Max: Well, let's kick their ass to wake them up.
Sam: Not now, little buddy.
Sailor Cluster Prime: (notices) Hey, a blimp!
There, they saw a blimp heading to a house.
Mr. Rude: Why is it heading to that tacky house where Rini is sleeping?
Conan: Only one way of finding out, let's go!
Quickly, they followed the blimp while unknown to them, Penny along with her animals noticed.
Penny: I wonder where they're heading?
The animals became concerned before they followed as well.
As the heroes made their way through the place, they noticed Mr. Grumpy, Mr. Bump, and Miss Whoops trying to hide in the shadows, avoiding some of the dream police.
Miss Calamity: Uh, is there something wrong?
Mr. Rude: Why are you hiding like sissies in some disgusting flower festival?
Mr. Bump: Almost 48 hours ago, we did a stupid risk with Hotaru and some of our friends. In an hour after everyone wakes up, we'll be tossed in prison if they find us. And worst yet, Commander Feral was on duty that night, so he saw four of us: Me, Mr. Grumpy, Jack, and Fidgit.
Voice: Hold it right there!
Mr. Grumpy: AHHH! Run!
Quickly, the three ran far from him as Feral, who looked, glared.
Feral: You are under arrest for trespassing in the museum!
Mr. Happy: But why were they trespassing?
Feral: They were seemingly trying to steal not only a priceless item from the Isis exhibit, but they were about to make off with the jewels of Anubis in the glass case.
Lucario: Doesn't sound right, though...
Feral: I saw the four with my own eyes...and I know what they were up to!
Miss Chatterbox: But what if they weren't stealing anything, just going to look at the artifacts that were about to return back to the proper place and they wanted to see this once in a lifetime experience?
Miss Sunshine: She does have a point.
Feral: Mark my words...if I find proof that these people were stealing, I will have them arrested...and not just them, you for trying to cover up their heist!
With that, he was gone as Mr. Rude frowned.
Mr. Rude: That cat is as hard as a stubborn goat.
Basil: Come on...off to where Rini's staying, shall we?
In Nemo's house, Rini, Nemo, and Icarus were all asleep. As they were asleep, some light began to flicker. Just then, a few people were marching in saying a battle cry. Nemo awoke, then gasped at the light.
Nemo: Icarus! Icarus, Rini, wake up!
Icarus woke up and looked astounded while Rini yawned, then gasped, noticing them.
Rini: Whoa, look at the soldiers! They look like the people from the circus!
Then, they noticed a familiar figure placed onto their lap before she stirred, awakening before gasping as the guards stood in place.
Hotaru: Rini? Nemo? What am I doing here?
Nemo: We were about to ask you the same question!
Then, the door opened up as they saw the Kouja no Senshi entering.
Conan: Rini! Are you and Nemo all right?
Rini: Yeah, but these people, who look like the circus people from this afternoon are coming to this place.
Mr. Tickle: I think they are the circus people...just in their dream personas.
Hotaru: But what is going on?
Sailor Moon: (notices) Look!
There, they saw a tall figure walking in along with a clown girl.
Billy: AHHH!
Freakazoid: Clown!
At that moment, as they hid, Penny, Bolt, Mittens, Rhino, and three others following looked concerned.
Boy: I knew there's something strange going on.
Fowl: I'm surprised...we're all in some sort of dream.
The old man looked at the guards while unknown to anyone, the same girl and hooded figure climbed up the dirigible, entering the bottom area, while he spoke.
Man: Ahem. Assemble yourselves. This is a royal calling.
Guard: Attention!
They all stood still while the others looked at the two that entered. He went forward, but then noticed his hat made the model swing around, with him holding them still.
Man: He-he. Sorry about that.
He then looked at the others.
Man: I'm sorry, but this is to be a private meeting. These three only.
Reiko: Hey, no fair!
Nina Tucker: We're just as much a part of this as you.
Sailor Venus: Please? We won't mean any harm.
The man looked at everyone as he sighed.
Man: Very well.
Sailor Mercury: (notices) Penny, I guess you were curious, too. (notices) Who are you three?
Warrior: The name's Norm. These two are Virgil and Mighty Max.
Mighty Max: Yeah...and somehow we got here for some reason.
Virgil: And we're also curious.
The man cleared his throat as he spoke to them, bowing.
Man: I am a professor. I am a genius. You may call me Professor Genius. (points to the girl) And this is Bon Bon.
Bon Bon: (bows her head) At your service.
Nemo: At my service?
Hotaru: (surprised) All three of us?
Professor Genius: We have been sent here on a mission by King Morphius: King of Slumberland.
Rini: King Morphius? Slumberland?
Max: What the heck is a Slumberland?
Psycho: Probably has something to do with peanuts or something.
