I can't believe how much has happened. Working two jobs has completly taken all my time these past months, and have to be my main concern of energy. What suffers are the toons. I keep getting ideas, but not the time to draw them. Very exciting life. Ya sure.
However, the good news, or as Grem sez, the Gud mews, Auntie is going to actually publish a book on the toons. I've bought the publishing package, and will begin the work sometime this month. It will be published and available on Amazon, ect. So I'm excited about it. Will post the progress here of course. And also, will maintain the DoberToons on the internet as is indefinately. they are still being discovered daily, about 10 hits a day, which is nice considering they are not being updated.
I'm very sad about that, but when the DPCA ignored us at the celebration, after all the thousands of $ the toons had raised for rescue groups, and when Auntie was stricken with that damn breast cancer and lost the honor of being webmaster for the DP rescue group, that kinda squashed the inspirations. So along with the death of my husband of 45 years 6 years ago, and having to work 2 jobs to survive, my funny bone doesn't work so inthusiastically these days. I have one more commissioned oil painting to do, then hopefully I can return to the art board again.
Meantime, keep dropping by, I still check in here every so often.
and oh yes, no cancer to date. Hopefully I beat it, and I'm doing several things to hopefully keep it that way. What a gruesome disease this is.
