this is an email Auntie received which is included here on the "Yakabouts" forum.

I am presenting a paper about nutrition and the US army ration later this month at the Conference of Army Historians. I'm currently searching for images to use in the presentation, and would like to use the cartoon you have on your website with the dog commenting that his food is fortified with vitamins and minerals. Could you email the image to me?

many thanks,

I did not draw either of these cartoons. But they were given to me, so I feel the cause warrents permission.

one is from Albert Mueller's military K-9 "War Dawgs":

the other was sent to me by the late Dick Zika, WW2 veteran and K-9 trainer. It features "Atrocity" WW K9. Toon #261 http://www.dobertoons.org/261a_atrocity.html
