How I am doing itby cantide5ga (no login)
Yes, I understand this, but initializing a bunch of arrays is unneeded overhead, especially when they get doubled up as a GET too. I realize I am being picky as I can throw in an appropriate destructor when I am finished capturing everything. As I said, just want this to be seamless more or less for educational purposes.
Btw, I am doing as much native c/c++ as possible with minimal calls to the Allegro library just to keep from reinventing the wheel. I have resorted to getting tiles and sprites from a bitmap utilizing a function from Allegro, which works just fine.
