I wrote an engine sometime ago in QB that utilized DATA statements for graphics (pixel plotting). I've been able to integrate everything into C other than this aspect. It's really a matter of the convenience of a seamless transition as there are other ways to do this per the library I am using.
for y = 0 to 9
for x = 0 to 9
pset (x,y), pixel
I understand this is incredibly slow, but it is only in the init stages when the program executes with GET and PUT taking it from there. Again, it was the convenience of it all. I will proceed with an alternative method as mentioned above.
