It was a competition to see who could be the first person to buy a legit copy of HL2 from a store in an attempt to get VALVe to unlock early.
As of Saturday the 13th of November at 4:50pm AEST, there is no word from the comp runner about what is going with VALVe and the possible unlocking of HL2.
