Hello guys, was after some info re. the wiring of the radio components, in Dragons sdkfz 234/4. Have done some online research, but can't identify part C25. Are there any components missing? And, is part E73 related to the radio?
Many thanks for any help you can give me, Cheers, Lincoln.

234/4

Hi Lincoln,

Part E73 was something to do with the antenna or the batteries which sit on the shelf below it. Its in the Bovington vehicle (234/3) which has the antenna fitting above it unlike this 234/4 which has it on the other side Ill check my photographs and get back to you, from memory it was a switch and a base for a transformer which make me think antenna.
Part C25 is the vehicles fuse box and is again based on the Bovington vehicles location. In between Xmas drinks Ill confirm all this for you.
Another point to consider is part b8 and b30 is the canister for the self destruct charge and b30 is missing the lid which was held on by two clips.

Jon, thanks for your reply. The 'Griffon' PE set I'm using has the extra details for part B30/8. So, if C25 is the fuse box, I'm assuming cables in and cables out? And was the transformer etc.(for the radio) located in the box under the radio?
Thanks again,
Cheers, Lincoln.

234/4 bits

Hi Lincoln,

Sorry it was a long drink. Ive been looking through my photos and have a couple of blurry shots of part E73 which confirm it was a switch for the battery set up with cables running down to the batteries. It could well have been the vehicle master power switch. Im still looking for better shots and something to confirm the fuse set up as well.
It will probably be easier to scan and send to you what I have which Ill do shortly.

Jon
