Anyone tried Wintec with CAIR panels

October 28 2001 at 2:28 AM

I need to replace my all purpose saddle and am considering a Wintec. My saddle fitter has blasted the bladder panel system for saddles, which to me makes sense since they won't need to be restuffed hence taking away her income.

I'd like to here from some who have tried them and tell me what you think. I am a well balanced rider with a VERY sensitive hard to fit horse.

thanks

Personally I luv wintecs. They are easy to care for. The new air stuffing is comfortable for the horses. I have a wintec/cair mp saddle and use it almost every day. My horse is happier in it then in my (expensive, custom made) flocked saddle. I had trouble finding a saddler who could stuff saddles properly. Well-- they "stuffed" them alright. (Either too firm, too bumpy, uneven - what can go wrong did go wrong which includes putting it back together with stitching out of place, leaving holes in the leather.
I stick with wintec until someone can recommed a saddler to me who actually understands his trade and has pride in good workmanship.

I would recommend you to get a Wintec with CAIR panels!

I have just recently bought myself a Wintec Isabel with CAIR panels and my horse, a big solid Thoroughbred gelding nearly 17hands, looking like Warmblood. He is much happier in the new saddle and is performing much better and more freer in the movements. He is being trained in Dressage work. I almost use it nearly everyday which is really great to ride in.
