I thought that I would post this for my daughter, Erin, who was absolutely thrilled the other day to receive a lovely note from Anky in response to a fan letter she had sent her.
Erin sent Anky a letter of encouragement during the Olympic games and to be honest I never gave it another thought. This week Erin received a letter from Anky with a personal note and Anky's home address which Erin had been cheeky enough to ask for. Erin was over the moon, she sat down and wrote Anky a beautiful letter in return.
I think it is lovely that someone at Anky's level takes the time to write to kids who have their dreams ahead of them.....:-) I guess Anky is teaching another lesson, we are all equal at the end of the day and she would not be where she is today if it were not for all her followers and supporters.
