If the problem persist only on the mini-video of Studio 7 (or 8) try changing the video-card driver and install the latest DirectX (8.1b) drivers. If the problem is also on the captured video file (AVI format) try one of the following:
- be sure your card has an unique IRQ number (dedicated)
- set a dedicated Windows configuration for video-editing (no antivirus etc...)
- set 25 frames/sec sampling frequency
- for VCR set 320x540 resolution because the VCR has no need for an higher sampling-resolution
- if you're italian please say that because I'm an italian and maybe can I help you better
