Windows XP + Studio 8 + DC10 Plus is a ****-mix!
Windows 2000/XP gives many problems with your Pinnacle hardware. The latest driver should recognize the DC10 Plus but all the rest of the Operating Systems makes many problems: you can't modify the IRQ settings, for example!
I founded a solution, because I've seen that a video-workstation need many resources. So I installed Windows 98 SE on a second partition and I make my movies with a dedicated Operating System. With Windows XP I do all the rest...
Trust me...Windows 98 SE for video editing (and ONLY for video editing) goes better, faster and not crashes!
