I have a problem getting the input to S-video from composite. I'm running XP and have the up-to-date drivers for XP and the DC10 plus card. I am using Studio 7 v15.
The problem occurs in studio when I plug in the S-video and get a black screen. I can start up a little program called AM Capture that came with the software and can access the DC10 settings. In the settings I can choose the S-video input and this works fine. At this point I can go back to Studio 7 and see the S-video picture just fine. However, when I try to capture, I get the black screen. If I go back to Am capture and check the settings, they are all grayed out and the input has been set back to composite. I can't find anywhere in studio to force this setting to S-video, only in AM capture can I do this. Hope this letter gets sent to the correct forum and any help on this is appreciated.
