After travelling across America for days on his Ducati 1098s, Jack Nathanson finally arrived at his destination, a wood structured, thatched roofed bungalow situated on a beach renowned by the few for having the most golden sands and the most beautiful ocean waters of any other place on earth. Behind the beach, the house and it's gardens are nothing but thick forests and a concrete driveway that stretches for miles before coming into contact with any other roads or anything else that civilisation has ever touched, aside from a few other properties similar to Jack's new home, but they are so far down the coast line that they cannot be seen nor heard. It is Jack's ideal vision for his perfect property, a place that has been beautifully made, with a porch facing some truly stunning scenery and no other humans to feel disgust for and, where he can retire whilst knowing that he shall never be found. He made the decision to buy this place a few weeks ago, decided to finally settle in the night after meeting with Viper and after doing so, hasn't strayed away from the property since, merely living off the fruit in his front garden and using the items needed for hygiene that he carried with him as he travelled behind the Darkside Wrestling Federation as their Commissioner and most hated man to ever sign one of their contracts.
Jack doesn't know whether he will return to the DWF. He has seen the company, the business, the sport for what he feels it truly is, wondering why he had devoted his entire life to something so crass, so crude, something utterly devoid of honour or respect. Too many times had he stepped out to that ring and played the game, being the villain in the programme that morbidly merged the soap opera with real life, Noish's public speech at StrikeZone had shown him that. How easy it would have been for Noish to head straight into the Commissioner's Office, to say those things to Jack's face and either request a match or even attempt to batter him on the spot. Instead, The Promised One went straight out to the ring and unleashed his slanderous tongue on the world, gaining the adulation of the thousands of fans in the arena and the millions watching at home, for they all hated Jack and thus, so they automatically loved anyone who shared their hatred of him. No, Jack did not feed them and doesn't plan on doing so any time soon despite the masses and the media branding him a “coward” for “ducking” the four time GTWF Undisputed Champion. It doesn't matter to Jack. He has fought and defeated pretty much everybody he wanted to defeat during his time at the DWF (with the exception of Viper, which he was dissatisfied with his somewhat tainted victory over and Kade, who he had fought to a draw in a bloodbath that was also incredibly close, but he could live without them) and thus, just didn't feel any need to continue on with that charade.
He had initially returned to take on the role of Commissioner of the Darkside Wrestling Federation and eventually back to the ring because although he had a run that most others would only dream of (if they actually cared about fighting the best instead of bullying the weak and getting their cheers), the way he had to relinquish the Undisputed Championship due to injury didn't sit well with him, even though he had come off one of the biggest victories of his career. He wasn't satisfied with the idea that there were those out there who believed that they had one upped him, that they were responsible for retiring him, so he had returned a few months later to seek revenge and to have the last laugh. Things didn't go as well as he had hoped, for he just sat in his office, doing paper work, pushing people away, being reminded of his own biological inferiority as a mere human being and becoming more and more bitter towards the company he worked for and towards the world itself, something which was picked up by that world and thus, had tainted his career further, as they had not cared about nor respected his past achievements and instead focused on the impression that he had given them, being an arrogant, embittered asshole who had fallen from grace. It took him a while to come to grips with the fact that the idea of retiring to the admiration and respect of the fans and the wrestling world would never happen, but by coming to terms with that, he had also come to terms with the fact that his career no longer meant as much to him at it used to be and at this present time, he no longer cares about the past, or the fact that the world hates him, or the fact that the people think he is a “coward” or a “pussy”, or the fact that his career is being ridiculed instead of respected. Jack had worked his ass off for the Darkside Wrestling Federation when he fought and even later on when he pushed papers, but now that is all behind him, that is all worthless history and frankly, that is fine with Jack, for he can now easily move on should he choose to, move on to the more serious things, the darker things that demand attention.
