Hi Sgt. Procter, Where was 2-corners? In 1956-1959 straight out from the main Iwakuni gate the intersection was called 4-corners and still going straight ahead was 3-corners. C-gate was to the left over along the river and was the safest gate to use on May Day. Hiroshima was always off limits on May Day. RTO train station was off-limits from midnight on @ rough area. Then there was the bars known as Night Train, Red Lips & Imazu Reds' Bar. In between 4-corners and 3-corners was a Japanese movie theather that showed great Samurai movies and had an icecresm shop next door in the alley by the unmarked off-base Officers' Club. :>) Whoops. Not supposed to know about that location. :>) Semper Fi - Andrew
