Naka-cho and Camp Gifu Update

I was at Gifu in 1953. The camp is now a Japanese Air Force Base. Naka-cho as an independant town no longer exists and was consolidated with other communities to form a new city called Kakamigahara. A new mall is being constructed in Kakamigahara which is reported to be one of the largest in Japan when completed. I'm afraid few of us would recognize the old place.
