What go-ats around, comes around - PT.1

This is Alayia's FF challenge. I wanted to post the first part because maybe it will make more people finish posting theirs. LOL Like always, I don't own Herc, Iolaus, Jason, Cheiron, Fiddle Face, or any of the entities that don't have horribly ridiculous names. I don't own the character of the others cadets either - they made 'em, they keep 'em. On to the story.

"I don't think this is such a good idea," Flin said as he followed closely behind his friend Sarem. Sure a beautiful female had happened upon their grove and being satyrs they had naturally followed her. But there was just something wrong with the place. Flin couldn't quite put his tounge on exactly what was wrong but the vibes from the place let him know the answer he seeked.
Sarem was obviously too smitten with the beautiful woman and replied to Flin, "You're always like this. Don't worry - she probably has a friend for you." He continued to push through the brush.
Flin scowled but he too continued to puch through because she was beautiful and the prospect of running into one of her also beautiful friends always held a true satyr captive. After a few minutes of going through the thick bush, they happened upon a small grove with an intricate water fountain in the middle. Something was wrong.
"Let's leave now," Flin said as he was already pushing himself backwards through the bush.
"Now? She probably lives here. It's almost as beautiful as her," Sarem told his friend as he pulled an apple off of one of the trees, "And she definately won't mind if we eat a bit of her fruit."
The moment the fruit touched his mouth, a blast of green light appeared in front of both of the satyrs. It caused Sarem to drop his fruit and Flin to fall down upon the ground in worship. In unison, they both said, "Artemis."
Artemis glowed with a fire in her that seemed to cause Sarem to become spellbound. "Satyr Sarem, you have eaten from my sacred grove and have chased one of my maidens to a point of exhaustion. For your greed, I curse you to become an animal who cares not what he eats." She shot him squarely with a bolt of green light and disappeared as Sarem lay writhing on the ground...

"Jason, would you cut it out already?" Iolaus moaned as he trudged up the hill behind his friend. Persperation was coming down his forehead as well as everyone else who was with him.
"Just a few more miles. Come on Iolaus - I know you're not tired," Jason said as he stopped to help his friend to his feet. Jason, being leader of exercises for today, was not going to let the others off so easy just because he was their friend.
Hercules stopped near both of them breathing hard and asked, "Iolaus has a point. It's gotten hotter so it's a lot more work for us to have to do. Maybe we can go do another exercise."
Jason looked at Iolaus and Hercules in disbelief. Here were his two friends who were used to dodging monsters and gods and they were tired for only two miles of hiking? He couldn't let them just go back to the Academy so soon. Cheiron would think that he was a bad leader.
"Eily, what would you do?" Jason asked the nearest cadet who happened to be Eily.
Eily walked over and looked at Jason as she tried to catch her breath. The boys had been ahead of her so she had to run to make sure she would stay caught up with them. "I think...I think...woo, wait a moment. Let me catch my breath." She continued to breath hard as she leaned over to touch her feet to catch her breath.
"See? She's out of breath. We've all been worked too hard," Iolaus pointed out as he brushed his hair out of his face. Anything to combat this heat.
"You prefer to be back at the Academy? With Neila leading the drills?" Jason asked to see what their response would be. He knew that they would have wanted to be out with him more than Neila. With him, they got a chance to improve upon their warrior skills.
In unision, all three said, "Yes." Anything was better than this.
"Well...fine then. We'll go back," Jason said a bit muffled that they would have chosen Neila's activities over his. He was a good leader. Wasn't he?
