7C46-7011 (SBBN007) Casing Issue

As mentioned in my post next door, the movement in my "Tuna" shifts when the crown is pulled or pushed. I unscrewed the case back to have a look around, and didn't find anything out of place. I did notice that the casing spring sits in a groove in the case ring, unlike what I've seen in the 6105 and others where the spring sits atop the ring. Is there supposed to be another spring that sits atop this assembly?
