Re: Well, you all wanted to hear from me... (very long)by Buckwheat (no login)Ed, Well its about time you read the forum. It sounds as though you are quite upset about the things said about the profession. I am going to have to disagree with you about sending patients to the physicians about getting tests. We, or should I say, most of us have studied xrays, blood tests and pharmacology, why should we not practice what we have learned? You put Chiropody in the light of being substandard to other professions by your comments. From somebody of your education and qualifications I would have expected you to be on top and being gung-ho to push our profession forward even further. What were your intentions of joining the OSC and being president? Of course, nothing's changed, could the title "president" boosted the ego a bit? Through your response it is so cut and dry that you as well, are as relentless as we are. As far as being a senior board member is concerned, I'm almost certain that you became president within 3 years of graduating. Did you actually think you can be put to the task of leading the association? There needs to be changes to the OSC and its rules and regulations for electing a president and its members to be competent and hard-working. It is too bad you are unlikely to respond to my thread, but I hope others reading this will respond and comment... Buckwheat Return to Index |
