That's why Ed is busy making money and you're not! Write letters to nursing homes and inform them that you're fully covered. Many will hire you on the spot. 18 months later, inform them that your funding was stopped and you start charging $5 less than what the residents were paying before. You also can sell orthopedic shoes on the side. In your neighborhood send letters to MDs that you charge $5 above OHIP and that treatment is available monthly. The patients which attend free chiropody clinics pay at least $5 for parking and have to wait 2-3 months for their treatments. Then a year later you tell them that your application for OHIP was refused and you have to charge them $10 per treatment. 8-10 months later, raise your fee by $5 more. Also don't forget to sell orthopedic shoes. They actually sell better than orthotics. So there you have it strategy for success as a chiropodist. Don't do what Peter George Wilson did!!!!
