A review of the CFPM survey the past 2 years
emphatically states that a mojority of Chiropodists/Podiatrists would recommend the profession to family, that many are making high, to very high incomes, that many employ 2, 3 , 4 + staff members, that many are performing multiple surgical procedures monthly, the vast majority see in excess of 300, 400, 500+ patients a month. That many operate there Own offices , many have been practicing for multiple years. All you have to do is try to get a same day appt. at most clinics especially here in the GTA, it is next to impossible. As for practitioners who have left the profession, I know very few, the reasons are complicated and varied. But to know so many is there a secret club, or a secret meeting somewhere.
Fellow Chiropodists I keep in touch with see between 20 and 70 patients a day. Once again there are approx. 13 million Ontarions, 450 "FOOT SPECIALISTS". Each day at my clinic I hear between 30 and 50 thankyou's. Need I say more
