This paper requests that the ban on Podiatrists entering Ontario be lifted and that the existing Podiatrists be able to "sell" their OHIP numbers to these new Podiatrists. I would suggest that this is our opportunity to respond to all the stake holders, with a request to create once and for all, a DPM add-on degree in Ontario. The implication that Chiropodists are not adequately trained, “Ontario’s chiropody model of footcare has not kept pace with the evolution of footcare delivery in other jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom”. Is completely unjustified and an unfair one.
      Any thoughts?
