It was a rat! A flying rat-looking thing! It was literally flying through the air!!! Alayia didn't know how or why, but it flew right into the Academy through the window into the wall.

"Whoa, what is that thing?" Hercules asked, approaching Alayia and staring at the rat.

"I think it's a rat," Jason guessed, coming up with Iolaus.

"Hey, maybe it's good on a bun!" Iolaus exclaimed.

"Iolaus!" the other three cadets shouted.

"Ok!" he shot back.

Then the rat, who was recovering from the wall during that time, started hovering and flew straight at ___________!

It was flying straight at Casche! She narrowed her eyes looking at it, and it turned at the last second. She grabbed it, and, to everyone's surprise, it started purring!

"Whoa! I flying rat that purrs!" Iolaus exclaimed.

"Yeah," Alayia agreed.

"I have no clue what this is! I've never even heard of something like it!" Casche said.

"I think I know what it is!" said _____, approaching behind the others.

"I think I know what it is!" said Neila, approaching behind the others.

"What is it?" Iolaus turned toward her.

"When I was a little girl," Neila began, "my mother used to tell me these stories about a flying rat. It would tend to cause people to panic and run away, but when it was caught it wouldn't do anything harmful. It would just purr. Someone came up with the name of CatRat. But since it could also fly, someone else came up with the name of KittyBatRat."

"KittyBatRat?" Jason gave her a disbelieving look. "You've got to be kidding!" He started snickering.

"Well, I'm not," Neila told him.

"The guys who named this creature must've been drunk!" Alayia exclaimed.

"Yeah," Casche agreed. "Who, in his right mind, would call something like this a KittyBatRat?"

"I don't know," Neila admitted. "I'm just telling you the story my mother used to tell me."

"Maybe we could shorten it or change it to something else," ______________ suggested, as she approached the group.

OK, so my portion was lame (Oh, well). I've never claimed to be a great idea person. :::shrugs her shoulders::: Maybe the next person can fix this.

"We could shorten the name or change it to something else," Loki suggested as ahem he approached the group.

Casche growled, "I thought Ty turned you into a frog?"

The other cadets looked kinda confused, but didn't say anything.

"Well.... I went running back to Odin. He turned me back."

"How could you get all the way back to Valhalla?" Iolaus asked.

"I called him to me. He's like your gods, ya know."

Hercules sighed. "Just go away, Loki."

"I don't wanna!"

The KittyBatRat started to growl at Loki.

"Looks like he's not a stupid KBR," Casche giggled.


Just had to bring Loki back!

Ty came in to see KBR, and when she saw Loki she scowled. "I turned you into a frog!" she whined. He explained how he was changed back, so then she turned him into a fishy and dropped him into an aquarium. Then she talked to KBR in its native language of squeaks, purrs, and chirps.

Casche laughed, at both Loki and the KBR.

She, being goddess of Nature, could understand what Ty and the KBR were saying.

The KBR was saying stupid things, from when is lunch, from where is lunch, back to when is lunch.

"Sounds like Iolaus!" Casche said, making everyone laugh.

The KBR looked around in confusion. Casche told him what she said, and he made an odd purr-meow-laugh thing. That just made eveyone laugh harder.


Lame, I know.....

just then tom walked in, looking for iolus.
'Hey, Fiddle face sead soemthing about iolus getting turned into some kind of weired flying thing, and sent me to look for him,
any idea where he is???

Casche arched an eyebrow. "Would it look like this?" she asked, showing him the thing in her arms. "If it is, that would explain why it keeps asking about lunch!"

"That could be him."

Casche brought the thing up to look at her straight in the eyes. "Is that you, Iolaus?"

The thing squeaked.

Casche tried to zap him back into a human, but it didn't work.

"Guys, help me!" she said. Anyone with powers tried to help, but they still couldn't turn him back.

"Someone or something pretty powerful must've turned him into this!" Casche exclaimed.
