I hardly ever listen to the radio or watch popular TV, so I have no clue what song that is.

From looking at Bryn, I'm guessing I should be thankful ^^

When Shrek and Donkey are all good-looking after taking the love potion, the song plays as they travel through the city.

yeah, it plays at the end of tadpole too! i diunno why, but i always sing it at work... especially when we change over the promotions and stuf... lol, how sad is that? lol

...had the worst soundtrack. They played Funkytown.

I HATE FUNKYTOWN!!!!!!

Three years ago I had a summer job for four months, and Funkytown was one of the songs that was played over and over and over and over...

And now, at my new job, Funkytown is played at least once per shift, but often twice, because the station that the store's speakers are turned to often repeats songs in an 8 hr time span. And so again I hear it over and over and over...

Seriously though, when I saw S2 in theaters, I had to cover up my ears and hum until the song was over to keep from dropping into berzerker mode. There are only two redeaming qualities about the movie (luckily, they make up for a whole lot):

1) The sequel is just as funny and interesting as the first movie, which is sadly a rare quality in sequels.

2) During the climactic battle, they played "Holding Out For A Hero" - one of my most favorite songs EVER!!!!! I fell in love with that song during the climax scene of Short Circuit 2, and of course that was right aroudn the time YH was airing, so the lyrics didn't hurt winning my favor...

~happy sigh~ So yeah. Except dor the two songs that force me into a fetal position as I rock and hum with my hands over my ears, I like Shrek 2. "Accidentally in Love" was a good song too ^_^ But Holding Out For A Hero is still one of my all-time faves.

aimee - three years I worked at Cedar Point, an amusement park in Ohio, USA. They played Funkytown, "Ain't no cure for the summertime blues" and most of the hits from the Beach Boys over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over... You get the drift. If any of those songs come on the radio, the stations better be changed quickly of berzerker mode threatens - although the forced listen-to-ment of Funkytown at my new job has helped me build a little bit of mental armor... still, I try to disappear into the back (where the speakers don't reach) whenever the song comes on.

My new job is at a Tim Hortons (a kinda coffee/doughnut/bagel fast-food place that's open 24/7).

you have my dream job. seriolusly, you do. i totally want to work in one of those places... i really miss working in this cafe where i worked. i loved it so much, only i quiot cos i was offered a job in a supermarket (which sucks incredibly) because it pays more...

i just want to make coffee agaib and have people like it, cos i've been told i make the best coffee known to man. whnver soemone wants offee at work, or we get big visits from people at head office, i'm always aske to make them coffee because they want to make a good ipression...
