I had noticed I tended to do that and I thought I had broken the habit. but it still slips by me once in a while. I will try harder. (if it makes you feel any better, you're not the only one - I sometimes accidently write Cashe and Celeste ^_~;;
As for claiming to have no artistic talent, I refuse to believe that. Maybe you can't draw (and as long as you keep saying you can't, then you won't be able to), so let's set that aside. Perhaps you don't have the time or the materials or the skill to carve a sculpture or whittle a bust or throw a pot... okay, we'll find something else. The only limitations to "art" are the limitations you put on it. Things you can do that are art-y that don't have anything to do with drawing:
- make a necklace or earrings or bracelet that would look good on your (or any) YH character and take a picture of it (make it out of beads or out of foodcoloringdyed macaroni if you choose to).
- make a replica of the campus out of legos or tin cans or tea boxes or pennies or bottlecaps or popsicle sticks and take a picture of it.
- See Hercules' face in the coffee grounds at work and take a picture of it ^_~
- Buy a knock-off Barbie doll (or any doll) and cut up some barbie clothes to make it look like a YHU cadet, and then take a picture of it ^_^
- tie leaves onto a headband and take a picture of yourself wearing your own Daccuda knock-off.
- Take a bowl of sand, imprint a greeky design in it, then pour in plaster. Wait for the plaster to harden and then brush off the sand and voila! You have a greeky plaque you can take a picture of ^_^
- Take a few paperclips, uncurl them, and then twist them together to form a stick-figure-esque paperclip Hero ^_^ and (say the words with me) take a picture of it. ^_^
I'm sure there's something you enjoy doing that you can twist into a bizarre form of "art" ^_^

headdesk Ah well. Yet another habit to break. As for your dilemma, I don't really have any good advice to offer. I was idly thinking to myself about what kind of character I'd be if I had to reinvent someone, and I came up with a gal who is half-baslisk and Ruff's half-sister. Then I realized yet again that I could never let go of my good-ol'Goddess of Unrequited Love, but by then it was too late. Fire-girl (haven't thought of a name yet) didn't want to go away, so I made her a deal. I'd eventually write a fic with her in it if she'd let me be GoUrL in the Academy. So maybe you could be one and write fics with the other? But then again you might have to come up with another name...
Ooo! What if you were poisoned with a mixture of something and Hind's blood, not enough to kill you but enough to turn you mortal and get you really really sick? You're found dying in the forest by a kind mortal family and nursed back to health, but you have amnesia and don't remember that you're a goddess! Then you could be both a goddess and mortal at the same time! (Well, not necessarily at the same time, but you can still be the same character ^_~)
