but, is jason's mam still alive? i know his father isn't, but i just can't remember about his mum... i think she is, but...i need clarification (right word?)

I don't remember her ever mentioned in YH, and I'm not familiar enough with H:TLJ to tell you for sure. You'd think that if she was still living she would have at least been mentioned or depicted on the show, but she wasn't mentioned being in the Elysian Fields either... I guess I'd assumed that she was dead, but I couldn't tell you for sure.

In the YH movie when Jason's father was crushingly sick, she was nowhere to be seen (I imagine if she were alive she would have been at his bedside tending to him). Also, with Jason suddenly at home they didn't show him meeting her, even when his fake uncle was like, "Jason, my boy!", and hugged him and etc. In the YH movie-verse at least, I'm guessing she was dead.

At least at the beginning of the YH series, I don't understand how his father could be dead. Isn't Jason the only heir to the throne? I know he eventually does go back to Corinth to rule, but before that it seems unlikely that the people would want their crown prince running around at hero school instead of staying inside the kingdom unless his father was still alive.

Actually, it's kind of impressive that he got permission to go to Cheiron's Academy at all. I'm certainly glad though.

He says that his mom died in the YH movie.

"My mother died when I was little."

I'm almost positive. I haven't seen the movie in over a year, but I know the lines like no one else- shoot me dead if it isn't!

And the reason why the let him go to Chreiron's Still was because at the beginning of the show, he was a Senior. They knew he would graduate very soon anyway, so in the meantime, he had Ophistus help him when he wasn't around and aid him when he was. And then they have the Senior Prank Day (Get Jason), and he gets Coronated later and is essentially replaced by Theseus. But by then, the show had ended.

Makes a bit of sense! Correct me if I'm wrong!

i was really confuzzled, cos when he went with herc to see hades and get eyridice (can never spell her name, so feel free to correct me ) he met his father, bit not his mother... so i assumed she was still living..

oh well, i needed to know for the purpose of my story sleepless. i kinda needed her alove for that... i think she'll just be alive anyways...l i'll be nicve and not make him an orphan
