Neila walked up to Alayia. "Who's your friend?" she asked.
"Oh, hi, Neila," Alayia greeted her. "This is my long time friend, Alisia. She's going to be joining the academy."
Neila looked at Alisia and smiled. "It's nice to meet you," she said, holding out her hand for Alisia to shake. "Welcome to the academy."
"Thanks," Alisia returned Neila's smile. "I'm happy to be here."
"There's a lot of things you'll have to get used to around here," Neila began to explain, "but it shouldn't be too hard for you and if you need any help, all you have to do is ask. We'll be happy to help you. That's one thing I like about this place. The people here are extremely friendly and helpful. It's kind of rare when someone turns you down when you ask them for help."
Neila suddenly spotted Iolaus across the courtyard. "Excuse me, please," she said. "I see Iolaus and I need to ask him about something Feducious assigned to us today. See you later and, again, welcome to the academy."
