Don't worry, you will still keep your rank and titles and everything, we are just going to clear the list of all those MIA, and refresh it with only the active members (Thus making our jobs easier, and so we will be able to do more). If you know of those who are lurking, or who haven't been around for a while, please warn them that this will be coming up. Once you are listed MIA you will be able to come back and be with us again, but if you haven't been active in a long time and are not active for a while afterwards, you might miss promotions.

Since I was posting on the FanFic forum for about a month and I finally figured out my character for the Academy, I was going to fill out that Admissions form. So should I fill it out now or wait until after you "cleaned house" of all the MIAs?

Oh, and I want to add my website to the Academy webring. Are you still doing that???

I figured it would be better to wait, but I wasn't sure.

And as for the webring, my website is like a month old and I'm looking for a way to bring in more people. It contains my Ares/Gabrielle stories and my Young Hercules stories. I just learned how to get the webring codes on my page, so I'm looking to join a few more.

i think i can answer some or your questions. Aura, was a chancellor, however she has been MIA (completely dissapeared) for a long time. Recently, we replaced her with Tern. If she was the one in charge of something, it's hard for the other chancellors to change, because they don't have the passwords they need.
as for the letters...they are short for the word "HiJack" people their own variations of it. It means that it is a post is unrelated to the leading topic. it's a way to cut down on starting a new post for everything. Things you think are not absolutly important should be posted like that. It's a new rule i think is kinda werid concidering how fast this page used to move, but i'll live with it.

by the way, I'm Léda. I'm sort of in half lurker mode at the moment (i post when i feel the want to say something, but i watch the forum carefully) I've been here for about 2 years. the people are great, get to know us...and if you have and mesage stuff (like icq or msn, etc. post your user names, cause we love to talk of the forum to!)

I hardly ever use the Yahoo email, but I have my Yahoo account connected to my AOL, so if I get any new mail, a thing pops up & tells me. That's easier than checking it all the time. Today it came in handy cuz I got an email letter from Italy.

I wish I didn't! This other girl from the Ares - Gabrielle mailing list started a webpage with me. Ares' Battling Bard. She said she would handle all the webpage stuff and I'd make the pix. We both write stories. Well, after 3 weeks she disappeared and now I can't access the page. I emailed her for the passwords, but she never replied. That's why I started my own webpage! And it's fun and easy!! But I never thought she would get tired of it in 3 weeks!
