...starts with us on sept 3rd. our school is a uniform school (UK) it's bottle green, urrrggghhhh!!!!

I meant, school starting, not uniforms! In Texas, school started Aug. 6, at least in Keller it did! We don't have to have uniforms, and I'm glad!!! But if we did, I hope they would be our school colors, royal blue and white. They're not bad colors!!

Actually, those are the colors we get to choose from over here. L And it's not as great as you think. It takes away from your creativity. Not to mention I can't use parents money to buy better clothes and say "I need it for school" L

......aren't that bad. I go to a catholic school. We have a plaid skirt or a green skirt we can wear, as well as khaki and black pants as long as they dont have outside pockets (like on jeans) and are shoes cant have open backs or toes. We have to wear either tights or knee highs. Then green, white or grey polo shirts. Used to be white button downed collar shirts but we didnt have to wear ties, only the guys. I dont start school till the 10th! whoohoo! lol But the first football game is actually before that! go figure!

to a Catholic school, too, but we don't have to wear uniforms. We dont really have much of a dress code either! But that's totally okay with me hehehe

I would hate to not be able to wear the same style of clothing as everyone else anyway :P

You know the thing with trends is that I bought a pair of jeans last year that were huge huge huge legs jeans. Huge. Everyone hated them, but I loved them. Now they're in style and everyone LOVES them. It kinda shows you how superficial some people can be, eh?

I don't think I could stand having to wear uniforms. I like being an indivual, or however it's spelled. Tho, I do wear the same stuff as the "popular" people, but that's just me. I'm like that!

I don't go out of my way to not wear the trends, but I wear what I want. I dont really care if one day I'm labelled a "copier" because I am wearing the same style of something as someone else, and the next a total freak for wearing something everyone hates, I just wear what I like I guess. I like to be an individual too But yea, I think I would switch schools if they enforced uniforms.

.......Like we still get to express some individuality. Like in the tights or knee-highs we wear. Like I have striped ones, fishnet ones, snake print, and all jazzy colors. Then we have dress down days too. We have to pay a buck and get to wear whatever. So some people get dressed up and some otehrs were pijamas. I were whatever I feel like that day. At my school the "popular people" don't stand out from others because we all have the same clothes on. Plus it cuts down about 20 minutes of my gettign ready time in the morning! lol

...it hard keeping up with the lastest fashion-it's so expensive, so i just have my own. i think i've had the same pair of trousers since i was 13, (they were too big when i got them) and now i wear them with different tops and create my own style

about that and, while I'm not really into R&B, I was saddened by the news. I've heard some of her songs and she was a really talented singer. I'm sure she will be very much missed by all.

I was a big fan of her. I had her CD from a couple years back and my friend and I were just listening to it a couple of days prior. It's kind of weird because you'll still see her all over MtV and stuff but she died. It's just really sad.

...no reason to enforce uniforms.We have no gangs,we aren't the kind to go around 98%naked and the majority of parents voted against it.So now I go to a private school w/out unis.

I design my own clothes.That's how individual I am.If I were to wear a one-strap top,i would half it to have 2 straps on one side.If I had a t-shirt on,it would say something about something I like.I don't like most of the recent styles.I have to agree with most parents,they are a bit too revealing.

I have to say this:most of the things they came out with that weren't too revealing I designed for myself 2-3 years ago!That's how slow the fashion industry is.
