Tried posting earlier in the day, maybe I pushed the wrong button...oh well. Anyway, just wanted to relay some initial impressions about the Nightflight Vintage [black dial] I just received by post. It took about a week to get to Seattle, WA., USA, and I'm gratified to report that all the positive comments I have read on this board are true--the watch is simply beautiful. Setting it was easy; it has a nice, mechanical "heft" to it; the band is unexpectedly thick, comfortable and handsome; the casework and finish details are very impressive for any watch, let alone one so moderately priced. The catalog photos, while very professional, do not begin to convey a true sense of the actual look and feel of this fine timepiece. Strong work, Ickler. The only downside: the obvious quality of my first LIMES watch has inspired me to consider purchasing a Principio GMT--IMHO, one of the most beautiful watch designs available at its price point.
