This weekend, Limes awarded a watch to me.......

As part of Convergence 2002 sponsorship, Limes donated a fantastic titanium pilots watch. I was the lucky person who went home with it.

I want to thank Steven Walker, Thomas Ickler and the people of Limes for their generosity. I am grateful for the gift and support that allowed all of us at Convergence to have such a wonderful weekend.

After being presented the watch, I took my Patek off and straped on the Limes. It was great to see that even the buckle was titanium.

After the dinner party, "SteveG" and I got the loupe out for close examination. Now, there is no question about the case quality of Limes. However, a person should also know that the dial is of high quality. Very well executed, clean and subtle matted finish. Minute and hour hands are just the right shape. We had some other watches including a Lange under the microscope too. It is just fantastic to see a Limes watch in person. It holds it's own aginest other watch makes with it's delivering of quality.

Also, on the flight home through a couple of airports, I noticed many people looking at my Limes. Now, this model is not flashy. I came to the conclusion that they were reading the time off my Limes watch. The watch is that clean and legible.

Once again, thank you to Limes for the watch.
