Searching for War Record

My uncle died as a result of wounds in France in 1917.
He was in the 5th/6th Battalion Royal Scots and as well as serving in France where he was wounded, he also served at Gallipolli. He was 250135 Private George Davidson and I am trying to trace his war records.
