I have a photograph of my Uncle James Quinn taken during the six years ......he served with the 2nd Battalion K.O.S.B. ...... he has a pith helmet in the photograph .....He served in India for 6 years ..... he came out and returned to Felling on Tyne .....in 1913 ......he married .......they had a daughter in summer of 1914 and he returned to the colours at the outbreak of war .....he was killed at the Battle of the Aisne France September 1914........after having fought at Mons and Le Cateau He is buried at Crouy Vauxrot French Militaire Cemetary .....near Soissons .....
