Response to F-8 Crusader wing box colours?
the same thing a couple months back but I can't find it here on Hyperscale. The color was repainted to white later on. You will have to check your timeframe to see if it was green or white.

Here are some links to ARC with some good info on the wing box and raised wing. Both links have pictures of the engine duct bay under the wing and explains about the color and how the wing sits on the fuselage. The guy Superheat says Interior Green. HTH!
