For those who purchased Trump's EA-18G in 1/32 scale, the Steel Beach update is now available from spruebrothers.com. It includes the antenna blisters on the nose, the MATT saddle antenna, and the two types of interferrometer (I love that word!) antennas for the side and rear fuselage as well as the dogtooth fairings for the leading edge slats.

I'm in the middle of one now...here's what I've encountered:
a. Decent for a stock tub and includes the ACS rear IP/coaming but this needs some TLC to look correct.
b. No sidewalls.
c. Front IP fairing's fog vents missing and HUD details inaccurate.
d. No pedals.
e. Sticks/throttle are inaccurate/overdone.
f. Rear wall cabling/plumbing missing.
g. The aft deck overhangs the back edge of the cockpit tub way too much...it should be flush and it's details suck. I replaced it with .040 stock and detailed it from there.
2. Gear Bays: Decent but could use some plumbing...depends how far you want to go.
3. Gear: Decent...Needs plumbing and some minor detailing.
4. Intakes: I went with an aftermarket set. The compressor blades are toy like and I don't like filling intake seams when avoidable.
6. The GIANT issue!!! Kit is missing all of the Growler ECM lumps and bumbs (more below).
I contacted a very nice gentleman the day I bought this kit about the ECM issues since I had purchased a 1/48 set he did and traded some emails with him. Wow...he has a set on Sprue Brothers for sale and I grabbed the first one...he's a savior.
There's another gentleman selling the resin intakes and wheels through e-bay...search "1/32 Super Hornet". They are fantastic (compressor blades are incredible)and I have three sets on my bench...well worth the money and easy fitting to the kit.
I'm sure Eduard will come out with a set and come up with the many items that I missed.
