Hey guys - hoping someone can help me out. I've done some searches and never found any really answer, but I think I've figured out at least how to ask the question!

I'm building a mid 80's ("afganistan-ish" time frame) Su-17m4. What color would the cockpit be and which hobby paint would be the closest match?

Thanks for the help.

AKAN 73068 or 73069

73068 Gray is matched to the Su-24 cockpit and has a greener tinge
73069 Gray is matched to the Su-27 cockpit and is bluer.

73068 is also a match for the Su-25 cockpit, and I'd also incline towards this for the Su-17m4.

AKAN has also just released authentic colors for the VVS tactical scheme of the Afghanistan era, if you're interested.

What are the numbers for that scheme?

Some Su-17s carried the earlier four-tone upper scheme, in which case you'd also need 73055.
