With all of the fame or notiriaty of the Wingnuts kits in all of the mags I have gotten the urge to build WW1 also.
I hadn't done so in 30 years but I am now. I forgot how much fun it was with all of their colors. Roden and Eduard kits are great also.
Oh, I almost forgot; in 1/72 scale.

Total agreement

I've recently gotten into WWI aircraft as well, mostly Eduard kits. Though I am finding 1/72nd a bit of a struggle due to the rigging, but it does vary from kit to kit. I don't know if I'll ever be good enough to build the Eduard DH-2 in 1/72nd... thankfully they re-released the 1:48 Profipack.

Not so much a fan of Roden though. I guess I've just been spoiled with all the Tamiya and AFV Club armor kits over the past decade, Rodens quality needs to come up a bit before I'll build many of them.

You are abetter man than I am, Charlie Brown. I have got the will power to do rigging. I resurected a box of built WW1 models that I packed for moving 30 years ago. Surprising enough that only one out of 36 was in need of repair. I've added agout 12 to the bunch with about 20 or 30 more to build. I will say too that Eduard kits seem to be the best. Roden kits aren't really bad, just very delicate to handle. Pegasus kits are crude by comparison. The old Revell stuff is not bad either. Haven't done a Toko or Imac yet but i soon will. They are all fun.

My girl - well she's kind of an ugly girl. But,that's O.K. I like ugly girls. Because pretty girls can do anything, but ugly girls have to do everything.

WW1 in the Jet age

Appologies. I forgot to switch back to Plane talking. I rarely view the Jet Age so it won't happen again.
