Unfortunately, it's arrived about eight years too late for this curmudgeon (who scratchbuilt/converted his Hobbycraft F-94B into a "C") but, at heefty bucks, just right for you guys who never availed yourself of the $120 Collect-Aire kit when it was in production.

Yes I saw it very nice!!!....

It looks to be a great kit-I am sure--Lets see the tooling?

Also I am slightly disappointed since the nose rocket bay is moulded shut--Lets hope some resin manufacturer can remedy that for me!! This will be one 1/48 kit I will buy & MAKE room for in my case--I absolutely love early jets!!!!-_Cant resist-this will be a stray from my beloved 1/144 scale!!

It will look nice next to my Anigrand 1/144 F-94C and F-94B!!!

Only on Ken Lawrence' reputation...

March 28 2012, 9:58 PM

I just placed a pre-order for a model that I've always wanted, but manufactured by a company that I've never heard of; I ordered only because Ken Lawrence is a stand-up guy, and his business is solid.

Thanks for posting the alert, Phil...I appreciate it.

Nose looks too short on the box art …

March 30 2012, 12:36 PM

but the kit moldings appear to be the proper length.

I'm not really a pompous ***; I just play one on HyperScale!

Yeah, I may have to do a cockpit set for this baby

March 29 2012, 12:51 PM

depending on how good she looks in kit form.

My work place monitor may be off color wise, but the markings should be insignia red. The PIMA bird is faded and it looks like they chose insignia orange for the decals to match the faded PIMA bird, at least on my monitor.

By the By, if I recall correctly, the PIMA bird is not original and was repainted. Not 100% accurate if I recall correctly, but I do not have my F-94 references here in front of me at the office.

Can't wait to see some photos of the kit parts.

Ye know.... All we're missing now is a Javelin.
