With the demise of International Air Power I was left without any infos about the current military aviation world.
Anybody knows about a magazine that can be a valid replacement ????

TIA

Aircraft Magazines.

I subscribed to "AirForces Monthly" (www.keypublishing.com) and "Combat Aircraft Monthly" (www.combataircraft.net) to keep up with the latest world-wide military aircraft news. I do not think they are a direct replacement for "International Airpower Review". The "AirForces Monthly" and "Combat Aircraft" magazines format, in my opinion, is like a military version of "Aviation and Space Weekly" magazines {not sure I got the title right}.
Both are published in color and have outstanding photography. Both sometimes have bonus items like fold-out air-to-air photos, posters and line drawings. Both include military aircraft news by region (N.and S. America, Europe, Asia, Middle East) and aircraft losses.
I miss "Wings of Fame" and in the May 2012 issue, "Combat Aircraft" had a great article: B-52 at 60 Nuclear Alert.
My experience with Customer Service for both magazines is OUTSTANDING!!!
IMHO, of the two magazines mentioned, the one that comes closest to the "International Airpower Review" would be "Combat Aircraft".
Both magazines are usually carried at newstands and book stores like Barnes and Noble here in the U.S.
