Who else ran under the N-4 number?

Hi Phil,

I first want to commend you on what you have created in the form of this website. I've recently posted many of my old 60's and 70's vintage racing films on YouTube and have received requests for specific boat information. I'm fortunate to have your site to refer to.

To see my videos you can go to:
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=MrHawkeye4077&search_type=&aq=f
Or enter MrHawkeye4077 in the YouTube search window.

My main reason for emailing you is that I see in your 225 N boat listings an "N-4". I'm not certain who might have had that number outside of the years I raced, but from December 71 until the late 70's or early 1980's, I raced N-4. In 1974 I was the Region 5, 225 high point champion, just barely beating Sherm Polhamus and his N-72 Tiger. They were some great years. I've attached some photos...

The N-72, Tiger listing on your 225 page shows Sherm from Miami Beach. He was actually living in Miami and his Dade Cycle shop was also in Miami...

Thanks,
Don "Hawkeye" Winer
Owner-Driver N-4 from 1971 to ??

note from phil...if you can help Don with his question, email him - don@winer.com
also, I recommend checking out his videos on youtube!
