So, hunting waterfowl is an expirence.
I've done it in 70 degree weather and I've done it at 20F+ and once at less than 20F.
I've done it under blue skies and when it is snowing, blowing, and all of the nasty stuff you can think of.
In any case, it is fun. Watch your dog break ice to go get a goose off the ice that you just shot, I'm hear to tell you it's a thrill.
Watching a kid shoot his first duck...indescribable.
Watching a kid stick his (or her) hand into a warm duck the first time to gut it, I wish I had camera shots of every one.
Making Gumbo from the goose or Mallards you shot, hmmmmm....good eats!
Or Goose sticks or goose jerky or well....
But To be honest, I'd rather hunt Pheasants.....
But ducks are fun too...
