| | We love RAID Today a drive died in the main logging server and caused the whole site to slow down. No data loss (RAID is good). We took the stat server offline which killed the bar charts and geographic reports, but the data was still logged out to be built back into the live data wherehouse when it came back online. The reports were offline for about 1.5 hours.
Reminds me that we have new RAID boxes here in the office that need to be installed. We should try doing the first one soon. Maybe this Sunday.

| | Cleared and starting over (v2, you could say) This is where I used to have a blog to test the blog style since 2000. Four years later, and only a few people ever had access to it. Well, that is going to change in v2 as we are going to let people have a lot more syles. So, what I had written was a bunch of crap and I got rid of it. Starting new. Sort of like a process the whole site has been going through with Chris and I rethinking the whole thing. Thus v2 and v3 are in the works. So long 1.5.x! Well mostly, since the jump from 1.4 to 1.5 had a lot of rewriting of data layer code that is going strait into v2 and v3. Makes v2 move along fast!
