I collected a big load of seeds from the Rutgers University Co-op gardens this past weekend. As far as I know these are Campsis radicans but the entire bloom is a deep sacrlet red color. A true hummingbird magnet.
This is a photo of the blooms I took in the summer. let me know if you want some !
I planted some whites with a pink blush inside.... not sure what they are supposed to look like, and I can't remember where I planted them all.... I think I might have found a few...not sure - does anyone have a photo of sprouts.
Stephen,
I'm new to the hummingbird attracting. However I heard from Nancy that hummingbirds are attracted to trumpet vine. I would like some if you still have any left. I've been looking in the woods for some but haven't found any.

To all who have responded more recently.: I will get packages out to you over the next few days or by the weekend , You will have to email me your mailing adress to Colubris@optonline.net
The mother plant may very well be Campsis Balboa Sunset aka "Monbol". They germinate readily and have gone tru a cold treatment.
